Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the Affirm Today mobile application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app. These Terms apply to all users of Affirm Today.
Description of the App
Affirm Today is a wellness and self-reflection application designed to help users build positive habits through affirmations, reminders, and streak tracking. Affirm Today is intended for informational and personal development purposes only and does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.
Eligibility
Affirm Today is intended for users aged 13 and older. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
No Accounts
Affirm Today does not require user account creation. All user data is stored locally on the user’s device unless otherwise stated.
Subscriptions and Payments
Affirm Today offers optional premium subscriptions, including monthly and yearly plans, with a three-day free trial where available. All payments and subscription management are handled exclusively through Apple’s App Store. Apple is responsible for:
- Processing payments
- Managing free trials
- Handling renewals and cancellations
- Issuing refunds, if applicable
Affirm Today does not process payments directly and does not store payment information. Subscriptions can be managed or canceled through iOS Settings under Subscriptions.
App Usage and User Content
Permitted Use
You may use Affirm Today for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
User-Generated Content
Affirm Today allows you to create and store custom affirmations, collection names, and optional display names. All such content is stored locally on your device. You retain ownership of any content you create. You agree not to use the app to create or store content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
Notifications
Affirm Today may send local notifications on your device for features such as reminders and streaks. Notifications can be enabled or disabled at any time through your device settings.
Data and Privacy
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled and stored. Affirm Today does not collect analytics, advertising data, or behavioral usage data.
Intellectual Property
All content provided by Affirm Today, including text, design, branding, and software, is owned by or licensed to the app publisher and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the app without prior written permission.
Health Disclaimer
Affirm Today is not a medical or mental health service.
The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing mental health concerns, you should seek advice from a qualified professional. Use of the app is at your own discretion and risk.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Affirm Today is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties or guarantees regarding:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Accuracy or effectiveness of affirmations
- Fitness for a particular purpose
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Affirm Today and its publisher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the app.
Termination
You may stop using Affirm Today at any time by deleting the app from your device. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the app at any time without prior notice.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
