This Privacy Policy applies to the Affirm Today mobile application and the Affirm Today website. It explains how information is handled when you use the app. Affirm Today is designed to respect user privacy and to operate with minimal data collection.

Custom Content: You may create and save custom affirmations, custom collections, and collection names. All custom content is stored locally on your device.
Support Communications: If you contact us for support, we may receive your email address and the contents of your message. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry and provide assistance.

Subscription and Purchase Information

Affirm Today offers optional monthly and yearly subscriptions, including a three-day free trial. All purchases are processed exclusively through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes purchase and subscription information in order to:

Complete transactions
Manage subscriptions and free trials
Validate receipts
Prevent fraud

We do not collect or store payment card details. We receive limited subscription status information from Apple, such as whether a subscription is active, expired, or in a trial period. This information is used solely to enable or restrict access to premium features.

Notifications

Affirm Today may send local notifications on your device for features such as reminders and streaks. These notifications are scheduled and handled entirely on your device. We do not send server-based push notifications and do not receive notification data.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, track, or store:

Advertising identifiers
Data for targeted advertising

Contacts, photos, camera, or mic
Cross-app or cross-website activity

We do not sell personal information and we do not use data for advertising purposes.

App Functionality: Display names, custom affirmations, collections, preferences, and streak data are stored locally on your device to support core app features.
Subscription Management: Subscription status information provided by Apple is used only to validate access to premium content.

We do not use information for profiling, advertising, or behavioral analytics.

Data Storage and Security

On-Device Storage: All app data, including display names, custom affirmations, collections, streaks, and preferences, is stored locally on your device.

Children’s Privacy

Affirm Today is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

International Use

Affirm Today operates globally. Subscription-related information processed by Apple may be handled using infrastructure located in various countries, solely to provide subscription services.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
